Scientific Project Manager (remote-ish)

Permanent employee, Full-time · Remote

What we do
What you can do with a quantum computer in 2022 is still quite underwhelming. It’s slow, very error-prone, and scientists spend an enormous amount of time just optimizing their setups. We are gathering the brightest minds to solve this! Join us on our journey to become the world’s leading scientific machine learning company. We work remotely, and meet physically once a month for planning, brainstorming and shared meals.
Why we need you
You will help us coordinate our growing list of tasks originating from customer engagements and research collaborative projects, as well as some ancillary activities (marketing, sales, etc). This means managing the company-wide task list and Gantt, making sure the people responsible for the tasks are aware of the schedule, raising red flags when missed schedules are projected, preparing reports of work done for public funding authorities, meeting logistical and administrative requirements - everything needed to keep the company executing at the highest level.
Your profile
  • 2-3 years of experience as a Scientific/Research Project Manager
  • Required fluency in German at native level
  • Fully remote but willing to relocate to Germany
  • Experience with German (BMBF) and EU research funding process and administration is highly desirable.
  • A university education in Natural Sciences or Engineering is highly desirable.
